This
film about Kews international seed bank was commissioned by
Nuffield to support their A level Biology and Science and
Society courses. in 2009 I travelled with Paul and Moctar
in Botswana to record a documentary for BBC World Service,
also called Banking on Life.
2010 Green
Work
This
film was commissioned by the London Green MEP, Jean Lambert
to discuss what is meant by Green Work and to showcase
three very different 'green' businesses. The film is
available through Green Party and European MEP web-sites.
2011 Where do
medicines come from?
This
short was produced to be shown in doctors surgeries and
accompanied a leaflet of the same name. Both the leaflet
and this film were produced as part of my work for
Understanding Animal Research. The film is sub-titled
because the sound is often turned down in surgeries.
2006 Blue
Ventures
Marine Conservation in Madagascar
We
filmed the work of a conservation charity in the summer of
2006 and made two films. This short was broadcast on the UK
community channel. A longer film in Malagasey had people
from Andavadoaka explaining their conservation projects to
other coastal communities.
